The NFPA 25 Advanced Systems Workshop expands on foundational NFPA 25 concepts and introduces intermediate-level skills for complex water-based systems. Participants learn how to determine minimum inspection and testing frequencies, perform and interpret water flow tests on private fire service mains and standpipes, and analyze the components and operation of deluge and preaction systems.
Throughout the workshop, students learn how to determine minimum inspection and testing frequencies, perform and analyze water flow tests on private fire service mains and standpipes, and examine the components, operation, and ITM considerations for deluge and preaction systems. The course also includes troubleshooting exercises and coverage of NFPA 25 3-year and 5-year testing requirements.
These NFPA 25 ITM fundamentals prepare participants for the NICET Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems certification exams, provide prep for the NFPA Water-Based Inspector (WBITM) credential, and support readiness for other industry credentialing tests.
