Code of Conduct
AFSA is a professional organization. As such, we expect all attendees to act appropriately and professionally at all times. This includes during classroom time as well as off hours at hotels, restaurants, or other gathering locations while attending training classes.
Non-Discrimination Policy and Statement
AFSA education and training programs shall be conducted without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, physical handicap, marital status, or arrest or court record that does not have a substantial relationship to the functions of training and education. The AFSA may refuse to provide training to any individual for good cause, based on violations of this policy. AFSA will take affirmative action to provide equal opportunity for all programs, as required by Federal and State law.
AFSA Training programs and events provide a professional atmosphere. The use of profanity, telling off-color jokes, or making comments deemed offensive may result in suspension or expulsion from the class without prior warning and without a refund for registration, transportation, or other expenses incurred.
