The 2019 edition of NFPA 13 will contain significant revisions regarding hardware and fasteners as well as other changes to the process of providing protection of fire sprinkler systems from seismic events. Along with other sections of the standard, the provisions for seismic protection have been relocated. All of the information and requirements formerly in section 9.3 are contained in chapter 18.
This webinar will highlight and explain some of the changes, as well as provide a refresher for some of the requirements and omissions permitted.
This webinar is part 2 in a 4-part series on the 2019 edition of NFPA 13. Part 3 will be on storage and part 4 will be on attics and concealed spaces.
