Updates to NFPA 420

The protection of cannabis facilities has been a burning question for the fire protection industry and spurred the creation of NFPA 420 to develop prescriptive requirements. This presentation will provide a high-level overview of NFPA 420 Standard for the Protection of Cannabis Growing and Processing Facilities, detail the joint efforts of the fire protection task group, and discuss the new standard’s impact on the installation of sprinkler systems.
