Learn about the technical changes for the upcoming 2022 editions of NFPA 24/291. This webinar will discuss and go over new sections added to the standards and revisions created based on the existing language. Additionally, the allowances for a single hydrant flow test will be discussed.

Michael Anderson
Michael Anderson is the Sales Manager and Technical Expert for The Hose Monster Company. He has over 40 years of experience in the fire protection industry, including owning a fire protection contracting firm and serving as the flow testing thought leader for The Hose Monster Company. Anderson has acted as an adjunct instructor for the AFSA’s ITM Inspector Development Program, the UA’s Train the Trainer program and teaches product certification classes for Hose Monster University.
Joshua McDonald
Joshua McDonald, M.S., CFPS, is a technical programs specialist for AFSA, where he is responsible for developing, updating, and delivering technical content. He has experience in all areas of training for fire protection industry professionals including web-based and hands-on learning. As a manufacturer, McDonald has been involved in the research and development of new fire protection products and has experience with risk engineering applying to the installation of fire protection systems. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in fire protection and safety engineering technology and Master of Science degree in Fire Safety and Explosion Protection from Oklahoma State University. McDonald is a member of NFPA and SFPE.
Tom Nobel
Tom Noble, SET, CFPS, CWBSP has over 25 years of experience in the fire protection industry. Noble is tasked with writing AFSA’s informal interpretations on technical questions, as well as co-teaching AFSA’s Beginning Fire Sprinkler System Planning School. Noble serves on the NFPA 13 Installation, NFPA 13D, NFPA 13R, NFPA 22, NFPA 24, NFPA 101, NFPA 170, and NFPA 5000®️ committees, and is a member of NFPA’s Certified Water-Based Systems Professional (CWBSP) certification advisory group.
