This webinar will cover the basics of NFPA 25, Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems, and discuss the requirements for completing an inspection, what is in the scope of NFPA 25, and what is not.
A review of responsibilities will also be covered. An additional focus of the webinar will be on reviewing deficiencies and what is within the scope of NFPA 25. The webinar will also review a list of common frequently asked questions regarding NFPA 25.

John is EVP Engineering for Global Fire Protection Group and has over 30 years of experience in Fire Protection Engineering. He currently serves on a number of NFPA Committees, including NFPA 18, 18A, 20, 22, 120, 122, 770 and 1150 and is a contributing author to the NFPA 20 Handbook. He also is currently serving on the Fire Protection subcommittee to the Distribution Systems committee of AWWA, and is a member of the Board of Directors of SFPE. He holds professional engineering licenses in all 50 US states, four of the US Territories, and eight provinces of Canada. He is an active member of AFSA, NFPA, SFPE, AWWA, and IFE.
